The Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland

BOMSS welcomed delegates  and industry to the 13th BOMSS Annual Scientific Meeting which took place at Hilton Brighton Metropole, from the 17th – 18th May 2022.

The meeting kicked off with BOMSS holding a Training Day for Trainee Surgeons and Integrated Healthcare Professionals on Monday 16th May 2022. The morning of the training day covered optimising weight management and dissatisfaction after Bariatric Surgery. In the afternoon, the Trainee Surgeons were able experience a hands-on laparoscopic skills training session, whilst the IHP's were exploring the experience of living with obesity.

The Annual Scientific Meeting programme took place on Tuesday 17th May and Wednesday 18th May 2022 with over 420 attendees arriving in Brighton. The programme covered all the important topics for the entire multidisciplinary team, with speakers from across the UK, Europe, USA and India.

BOMSS would like to thank all the delegates, speakers and industry for their contribution to the meeting.

All abstracts will be published in the Obesity Surgery Journal.
